Bitcoin perpetual futures on Dexari support up to 40x leverage with cross or isolated margin. At 40x, a $100 margin deposit controls a $4,000 position, so small price moves have a large effect on your margin.
How do BTC funding rates work on Hyperliquid?
Funding payments are exchanged between longs and shorts every hour on Hyperliquid. When the rate is positive, longs pay shorts. When it is negative, shorts pay longs. Funding is peer to peer, not a platform fee, and is calculated on your full position size.
What is the difference between trading BTC perps and buying Bitcoin?
Buying Bitcoin gives you ownership of the tokens themselves. Trading BTC perps gives you leveraged long or short exposure to the Bitcoin price without holding the tokens, and your position exchanges hourly funding while it stays open.
